Personal Bio

Hey! I am Tehl Tanner, an 8 year broadcasting vet currently in my fourth year as the voice of the Mount Marty University Lancers in Yankton, South Dakota.

Over the last 8 years, I has provided radio and TV Play by Play for over 450 ball games across 5 different sports: football, baseball, softball, basketball, and volleyball.
I honestly can't even add up the road mileage at this point for the amount of athletic trips I have been a part of, but each one carries its own unique story. At MMU I have been fortunate to be able to ride the bus with the coaches and athletes which has established strong bonds (and fun stories) across the board.

Before that at the University of South Dakota I was extremely lucky to be there during a true golden era of Coyote athletics. Covering some of the biggest moments in school history.

Growing up, I was raised on a ranch in western South Dakota in one of the smallest towns around (high school graduating class size of 8), tending sheep, cattle, pigs, chickens, and just about everything else before leaving for college.

Becoming a professional sportscaster has truly been a life long dream.
